Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Edu Video Uploader ("the tool", "we", Crafted Life) handles information. Edu Video Uploader is an internal tool that Crafted Life uses to upload the educational videos we make to our own accounts:

• YouTube: the channels Thử Hình Dung (@ThuHinhDung) and Picture This Facts (@PictureThisFacts)
• Facebook: the Pages facebook.com/ThuHinhDung and facebook.com/PictureThisFacts
• TikTok: the account @picturethisfacts

The tool is used only by the Crafted Life team. It is not offered to the public, and it does not ask anyone outside Crafted Life to connect their account. You can reach us at the email at the bottom of this page.

2. Use of YouTube API Services

Edu Video Uploader uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to our YouTube channels and to read information about those channels. By using the tool, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Data the tool accesses

• OAuth tokens. When a Crafted Life team member authorizes the tool for one of our accounts, Google, Meta or TikTok issues an access token (and, where offered, a refresh token). The tool uses these tokens to act on that account. They are stored only on the team member's computer, in local files kept out of source control, and are never sent to a Crafted Life server or to any third party.
• YouTube permissions. youtube.upload, to upload videos to our channels, and youtube.readonly, to read information about our own channels and videos, for example to confirm which channel is connected.
• Facebook permissions. The Facebook Page permissions needed to publish videos to our own Pages.
• TikTok permissions. Video upload, to send videos to our TikTok account, and basic account information (the account's ID), to confirm which account is connected.
• Our own content. The videos, titles, descriptions and thumbnails we upload. These are made by Crafted Life.

The tool does not read or collect data about viewers, followers or commenters, or about any account other than the Crafted Life accounts listed above. It contains no ads, analytics or tracking, and it does not use cookies.

4. How we use data

We use the data above only to upload our videos to our own channels and pages and to check that the uploads worked. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share data from the tool. Data is sent only to the platform it belongs to, as part of an upload: videos for YouTube go to Google, videos for Facebook go to Meta, and videos for TikTok go to TikTok. Each platform handles data under its own policy: the Google Privacy Policy, the Meta Privacy Policy and the TikTok Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

6. Data storage and retention

OAuth tokens stay on the team member's computer only for as long as we need the tool to reach that account. When access is revoked, or the tool is no longer used for an account, we delete the stored tokens. Videos we publish stay on each platform under that platform's own controls until we remove them there.

7. Revoking access

Access granted to Edu Video Uploader can be revoked at any time:

• Google / YouTube: remove Edu Video Uploader at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Facebook: open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business Integrations, and remove Edu Video Uploader.
• TikTok: in the TikTok app, open Settings and privacy, then Security & permissions, then Manage app permissions, and remove Edu Video Uploader.

Once access is revoked, the stored tokens stop working and the tool can no longer reach that account.

8. Data deletion

Edu Video Uploader only connects to Crafted Life's own accounts and does not keep data about anyone else. To have data related to the tool deleted:

1. Revoke the tool's access as described in Revoking access. This invalidates its tokens straight away.
2. Email us at support@craftedlife.app with the subject "Data deletion request" and the account concerned. We will delete any tokens and other data the tool holds for that account within 30 days and confirm by email.

9. Children's privacy

The tool is used only by the Crafted Life team and does not collect data from anyone else, including children.

10. Security

Tokens are kept only on the team member's computer, outside source control, and data is exchanged with Google, Meta and TikTok over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the tool changes, for example if it starts uploading to another platform. The date above reflects the latest revision.
