These Terms of Use work together with the End User License Agreement (EULA) and the Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using FocusMind, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What FocusMind does

FocusMind measures your app usage on your own device, lets you set daily time limits for apps you choose, and shields those apps once a limit is reached, using platform-provided mechanisms (Android Usage Access, Apple Screen Time). FocusMind is a personal focus tool, not a parental-control, monitoring, or surveillance product for another person's device.

3. No account required

FocusMind does not require you to create an account. All limits, usage history, and session data are tied to the device you install it on.

4. Permitted use

You may use FocusMind for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or are authorized to configure.

5. Prohibited use

You must not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass the app's licensing or platform permission checks, use the app to monitor another person without their knowledge or consent, or use the app in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Platform permissions

Certain features require permissions granted by Android or iOS (Usage Access, Screen Time / Family Controls, notifications). If you decline or revoke these permissions, related features may not work; this is expected behavior, not a defect.

7. No warranty

FocusMind is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will change your habits -- it is a tool, not a guarantee of outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

9. Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features, or discontinue the app, at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. The version published on this page is the one in effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where App Store or Google Play policies require otherwise for distribution on those platforms.
